A film featuring Italian actress Caterina Murino was presented to designers and stylists at the Lineapelle London event highlighting Tuscan sole leather production.
“I’m honoured to have been chosen as an ambassador of Cuoio di Toscana” says Murino. “I’m very, very close to my roots and my territory. The Italian style is known and sought after in the whole world and, therefore, we must be the first to believe and invest in our brands”, she added.
The film titled “Niente per caso”, features actress Murino in the role of a shoe designer and looks at the production of sole leather in the area.
Cuoio di Toscana is a group of traditional Tuscan sole and full vegetable tanned leather companies located around the Ponte e Egola and Santa Croce tanning districts of Tuscany. It represents around 80% of all European vegetable leather production.
